Scope of Exhibits:
250 (or less) items of outstanding design products of this year's Awards, including all final award
winning products from open group and enterprise innovation group, It offers the opportunities to
showcase designers' talent and Dongguan corporations' strength, and wish to promote the
exchange and cooperation among manufacturers and excellent designers.

2007 Design & Innovation Summit Forum

Goal：Join other professionals from home and abroad at this year's event to learn more about our theme – Design and Innovation. This Forum, packed within one comprehensive day of technical breakout sessions, special interest group meetings, and networking events, will feature a variety of business tracks that will offer dynamic and interactive studies on successful cases, for showcasing best practices in establishment of international brand and impact of industrial design on promotion of self-owned brand and enterprises as a whole from industries and its alliance partners.
Attendee: Enterprises executives, design directors, managers of R&D sectors,  product managers, manager of purchasing departments and sales department, designers, agencies, design studios, companies, research laboratories, inventors, freelancers, design professionals, students from anywhere in the world, and those who are fascinated with industrial design are kindly invited and most welcomed to be with us here.

Brief introductions of speakers:
1. Mr. Hans van Heeswijk     
Hans van Heeswijk (1952) graduated from Delft Technical University, Faculty of Architecture in 1980.
From 1981 until 1983 he worked in the office of Aldo van Eyck and Theo Bosch architects in Amsterdam. From 1983 until 1985 he worked for Aldo and Hannie van Eyck architects in Amsterdam.
In 1985 he founded his own architectural practice in Amsterdam.
From 1985 on he was a member of all kinds of juries, committees and boards. He has taught architecture in Amsterdam and has lectured throughout Europe.
He received several awards and citations for buildings, renovation projects and bridges.

2. Mr. Huiming Tong
Professor and Master Supervisor of Guangzhou Academy of Art, and currently serves as the Head of Faculty of Design, Guangzhou Academy of Art.

For many years dedicated in promoting industrial design, involved in providing design consultancy for many major corporations, eg. Canbo Sterilizer, Vanward Gas Water Heater and Disinfecting Cabinet, Midea window air conditioner, Kelon Refrigerator, Kangyi Banknote Counting Machine, and so on.
Served as juror for many design prizes at home and abroad, eg. China Red Star Design Award 2006, 2007; China Industrial Design Award 2006; Guangzhou Kapok – Innovative Design Awards 2006, 2007; the Braun Prize 2005 International Design Awards.

3. Mr. Jihong, Jeung
Associate Professor, Direct-General of Techno Design Research Institute

4. Mr. Katsushi Kunimoto (Japan)
 -Professor of Nagoya City University Graduate School of Design & Architecture.
-Product Designer / Design Director
-Jury for International Design Competition 2007(JDF) & Good Design Award (G-Mark).
-Committee member of sensitivity value creation initiative taskforce committee & Chief examiner of strategy design practical use meeting for the study working group of The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
-Design and development of own design brand " THE CUTLERY OPUS ONE " & car design of Mitsubishi Motors Co., such as "PAJERO", "DELICA" and so on.
-Design of multi tasking machine " INTEGREX " and system " DONE IN ONE " (MAZAK).
